Role Description

This position is a key member of the Production Engineering team, responsible for sustaining and basic troubleshooting of a variety of semiconductor manufacturing equipment on shift. Ultimately this role supports the site operations by ensuring availability of all manufacturing tools.

Your general duties will include:

  • Sustain (Basic PM) and troubleshoot equipment during shift hours.
  • Carry out first level of fault recovery and tool health improvement activities
  • Support equipment experiment/improvement actions and projects.
  • Support manufacturing shift by achieving all required equipment metrics
  • Follow documented procedures for basic equipment checks ,pms and OCAPs
  • Interface with Engineers (equipment and process) and manufacturing on line issues.

Qualifications and educational requirements:

  • Preferred BTEC/HNC Engineering (Mechatronic or Mechanical and electrical)

Desired skills:

  • Knowledge of wafer fab manufacturing equipment and systems, electrical / electronic and mechanical knowledge
  • 3 years wafer fab experience.
  • Ability to work flexible hours.
  • Ability to work effectively in teams.
  • Ability to support and listen to others.
  • Familiar with all modern manufacturing concepts such as; JIT, KANBAN, Zero Defects, SPC, TQM and TPM.
  • Experienced in supporting continuous improvement activities and projects for assigned measurables.
  • Highly motivated, results orientated customer service orientated and good communication skills.
