Job Description.

We are currently seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to join our Quality team at NWF. The role will be working with all areas of the business to ensure compliance to audit standards and the company's Quality Management System. 

Principle accountabilities

•  Conduct internal ISO audits to ensure compliance with the Quality Management System and Standards: Primary audits ISO9001, IATF16969, VDA 6.3. Secondary audits ISO5001, ISO45001, ISO14001.
•  Co-ordinating and managing the Integrated audit system and audit plan.
•  Managing 8D non-conformances and follow up actions with external customers
•  Working with procurement team to plan and conduct supplier audits.
•  Reviewing and implementing customer specific requirements. (IATF requirement)
•  Working closely with manufacturing & engineering teams to investigate and resolve any non-confirming product or customer issues and to facilitate pro-active processes such      as FMEA and 5S methods.
•  Management of Measurement System Analysis system.
•  Maintaining and updating Quality Documents and supporting Document Control process
•  Key team member supporting and helping teams to prepare for and execute Customer onsite audits.
•  Working with Quality Control Circles on continuous improvement projects.
 
Qualifications, Skills, Experience and Behaviours
The successful candidate will ideally have:
•  At least 5 years’ experience in Quality Engineering - preferably semiconductor/electronics.
•  Also consider Automotive / Healthcare and Aerospace sectors.
•  Educated to Degree level.
•  ISO9001 auditor certified & desirable IATF16949 & VDA6.3 auditor certified.
•  Experience using and facilitating Quality Tools including FMEA, 5S, 8D, MSA and SPC.
•  Ability to work in and co-ordinate multi-disciplinary teams.
•  Excellent communication skills, customer facing experience and competence .
•  Continuous improvement mindset.
•  IT literate: Word / PPT / Excel / other QMS systems.
